The case of a posthuman called "Peter 2.0" presents the case of a British scientist suffering from an incurable disease of motor neurons. He calls himself a cyber-organism. He specializes in artificial intelligence and robotics. His working tool is his own mind, and his material is his body. He uses the latest technologies in the fight against his disease. He underwent a series of complicated surgeries to overcome the limitations caused by a serious disease. For this reason, the scientist is currently the most advanced living organism that is permanently attached to a life support machine and artificial intelligence. Dr. Scott-Morgan decided to turn into a cyborg, not only to survive, but also to give hope and a chance for life to many sick and paralyzed people around the world. The dynamics of scientific and technical progress in fields related to human biology still seems to be accelerating. The 21st century is a century of progress, mainly in the fields of biotechnology, but it also brings with it many new problems and challenges that modern man faces. There is a lot of professional literature and publications on the subject of continuous human evolution. In the chapter, the author cites famous transhumanists such as: Nick Bostorm, Ray Kurzweil, Max More, Michał Klichowski, and Rachel Armstrong. She shows a relationship between technological development and human functioning in order to extend life. She proves that for transhumanists what is more important is the final result, which is the existence of the posthuman, and not the specific way in which it will come about. The posthuman will therefore be a being more perfect than the present man, because all the qualities to which positive values are assigned will be improved in him. He will have an intelligence more advanced than ours. His life will be extended, he will become immune to diseases, epidemics and injuries. The author, on the basis of the literature used in the chapter, shows that for transhumanists, extending life, and even immortality, is the most important principle, which may justify taking care of health, in order to live to the times when people will become immortal
